Erin is a Specialist Paediatric Dental Consultant at Te Whatu Ora Hutt Valley in Wellington, New Zealand. Erin was awarded her FRACDS in 2002 and MRACDS (Paed) in 2008. Erin has worked as a specialist for many years in NZ and Australia and is involved in research and clinical practice. Erin has been an examiner for the Collge for over nine years, was the Chair of the RACDS NZ Committee for five years and served on numerous Committees in her role as a Board member.
Melinda has been a clinical periodontist and lecturer in periodontics for the past 20 years. She practises in both private practice and at the Alfred hospital, enabling her to explore interests in the rehabilitation of medically compromised patients, aesthetics and the management of peri-implantitis. Melinda is the academic lead for periodontics at La Trobe University, Bendigo and lectures locally and nationally, presenting topics in periodontics and dental implants.
Dr Jess O’Neill is a specialist Periodontist working in public and private practice. She is a Senior Clinical Specialist at Sydney Dental Hospital and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. She practices privately in Mosman and Sydney CBD, with clinical interests in peri-implantitis, advanced periodontal, and implant therapy.

As recipient of an Australian Society of Orthodontics research scholarship, Dr Vlaskalic travelled to the United States. At the Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry, Pacific University San Francisco, she conducted the 1998 initial feasibility trial and published the first paper on digital clear aligners in 2000. Since that time she has been involved in the innovation, clinical practice and teaching of computer programmed clear aligner therapy.
Dr Calum A Smith MBChB, BMedSci (Hons), MRCPsych, FRANZCP, Cert Forensic Psych, MFMH (Ex) is a consultant forensic psychiatrist. He currently works in Western Australia in general adult roles. He has previously worked in Forensic psychiatry in NSW for almost ten years. He continues to work as an independent court report writer and has held educational roles in other services. He is interested in real world contemporary systemic approaches to psychiatry, specifically how we safely and effectively reduce restrictive practices, and how service provision impacts outcomes in individuals.
Susan is a Specialist Periodontist in suburban Melbourne. She was the Chair of the Organising Committee for the 2022 RACDS Conference and chaired the RACDS Education Policy Committee. Susan is a Past President of the ADAVB and Co-Chairs the Australian Dental Health Foundation Victoria committee. Susan has demonstrated to and examined postgraduate and undergraduate students in periodontics. She received her MRACDS (Perio) in 2011 and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Susan is the recipient of the 2021 ADA Valuable Service Award.
Associate Professor Shalini Arunogiri is a clinical addiction psychiatrist and researcher. She is the Clinical Director of the Hamilton Centre - Victorian Statewide Centre for Addiction and Mental Health at Turning Point, and Associate Professor at Monash University. She is immediate-past Chair of the RANZCP Faculty of Addiction Psychiatry (2017-2024), and leads a research program in innovative treatments for substance use and mental health comorbidity (>$20M in funding, and >70 peer reviewed publications).
Professor Rebecca McKetin (BSc(Psychol)Hons. PhD) leads a program of research into stimulant use epidemiology and interventions at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, UNSW. She is recognised as a global leader in methamphetamine research. Her work has involved trialling new pharmacotherapy options (the Tina Trial, the N-ICE trial; the LiMA study), developing and evaluating the online delivery of psychological help (Breaking the Ice, wadawanti), and evaluating community-based treatment options. Professor Nagesh Pai is the Foundation Professor and Chair of Psychiatry at the University of Wollongong, a Senior Clinical Academic, ISLHD. He is a member of the MVESPMHN Committee and the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry, RANZCP. Professor Sathya Rao is the Director of Spectrum, the Victorian clinical centre of excellence for personality disorder & complex trauma and the acting Clinical Program Director of Mental Health Program, Eastern Health. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Monash University. He is the Vice President of Australian BPD Foundation. He is the president of Australasian Association for Research & Treatment of Personality Disorders (AART-PD) and chairs the Committee for Ethics and Professional Practice of RANZCP. He was awarded the ‘Meritorious Service Award’ in 2020 and Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2022.
Professor Norman Sartorius, MD, PhD, FRCPsych holds professorial appointments at several universities in Europe, the USA and elsewhere. He was the Director of the Mental Health Programme of the WHO, President of the World Psychiatric Association and of the European Psychiatric Association. He is currently President of the Association for the Improvement of Mental Health Programmes in Geneva. His main interests at present are problems related to comorbidity of mental and physical disorders, the fight against stigma and the education of early career psychiatrists. He published more than 600 papers in peer reviewed journals and authored or edited more than 120 books (h = 122).
Dr. Lyndon Chan is an ENT surgeon with a particular sub-speciality interest in sleep and sinonasal surgery. Upon completion of training, he underwent numerous fellowships in Sleep Surgery and Rhinology both nationally in Wollongong, and internationally at Singapore General Hospital and Duke University Hospital, USA. He is currently the International President of the International Surgical Sleep Society.

Dr Barbara Woodhouse specialises in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and gained Fellowship by examination in 1984 and then FRACDS(OMS) in 1990, for which she subsequently examined. She has previously served on RACDS council and multiple Committees, and for 15 years as a consultant at Royal Brisbane and Princess Alexandra Hospitals. She is now full-time in private specialist OMS practice, serves on various hospital medical advisory and peri-operative Committees and remains active in undergraduate, graduate and post graduate dental and medical education.
