Accommodation

A selection of accommodation options has been secured within easy walking distance of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth by the Conference Office. Booking through this site will offer you the following benefits:

Some hotels may request a one night's deposit to secure your booking which will be charged 30 days prior to arrival. If applicable, this is noted in the below terms for each hotel.
Flexibility to change your booking at any time up to 30 days prior to the Conference commencement date
Personalised assistance prior to, during and following your visit.

Accommodation is held from Wednesday, 16 - Saturday, 19 September 2026. If you require dates outside of this period, please note your preferred dates in the 'Special Requirements' section. The Conference Office will contact the hotel direct and advise you of availability.

The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival so we encourage you to book early. Any booking requests received less than 30 days prior to arrival are subject to availability.

A valid credit card number must be provided to secure your booking. The card details will be securely forwarded to the hotel as a guarantee of your booking.

If you wish to pay for your accommodation in advance by credit card or bank transfer, please note this request in the ‘Special Requirements’ section and the Conference Office will be in contact to finalise the payment with you.

You will be required to settle your room and incidental expenses direct with the hotel on arrival or departure.

Please note the check in time at the hotels is generally 2:00pm. If you require immediate access to your room prior to this time, hotels generally recommend booking for the evening before your stay commences. If you are arriving after 6:00pm please note this accordingly to ensure your room is held for your arrival.

Please review the booking terms for your preferred hotel for penalties that will apply should you cancel or reduce your stay (by one or more nights) or fail to arrive at the hotel on the designated day of arrival (no-shows). To make any changes or to cancel your booking, please contact the Conference Office by email to racds@wsm.com.au – NOT direct with the hotel. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot by accepted nor will hotels accept any changes direct.

All room rates noted are based on room only and are in Australian Dollars.

The Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is the Conference venue and is centrally located in the city. The hotel feature two onsite restaurants and two bars, room service, heath & wellness studio and car parking (additional costs apply). Cancellation policy: Cancellations received between 30-14 days of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation. Cancellations received within 14 days of arrival or non arrival at the hotel (no shows) will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the entire length of stay.
