The Opening Ceremony is the inaugural event of The Fine Edge of Dentistry and official admission of candidates to Fellowship and Membership. The President’s Welcome Reception will be held following the Opening Ceremony where guests can congratulate and welcome new Fellows and Members while enjoying light refreshments.

Cost: Full In-Person Registrations for Members of RACDS and Induction-Only Registrations include a complimentary ticket. Additional guest tickets may be purchased for $100 including GST. Tickets for children attending under 12 years of age are complimentary. Tickets for children 12-18 years of age are $30 including GST. A maximum of 5 guest tickets per inductee is allowed. Academic gowns: Inductees will have the option to hire an academic gown and stole from the College. To do so, please kindly navigate through the registration process and indicate gown rental as your preference. Gowns can be collected on the day from 4pm with the ceremony commencing at 6pm. There will be no rehearsal however clear instructions will be provided at the event.
