ANZAOMS is pleased to announce the ASM Nurses Workshop will be held on Thursday 18 May 2023 with the support of Straumann.
Held at the Hilton Sydney from 1330-1630hrs, the session will commence with a 1.5 hour lecture series covering:
• The history and science behind dental implantology
• The implant armamentarium: what equipment we use and how we use it
• From placement to prosthesis: the implant workflow.
Following afternoon tea, a hands-on one-hour session will provide nurses with the opportunity to handle the instruments and familiarise themselves with the surgical cassettes. Under supervision they will then each have the opportunity to place one implant into a saw-bone following the Straumann protocol.
The sessions will be conducted by Dr Andrew Watkins and Dr Jamie Olsen and supported by Straumann Group’s ANZ Clinical Affairs Manager Amanda Heard and NSW Regional Sales manager Carly Vumbaca.
Places are limited so early bookings are encouraged. Cost: $400 inc gst
