Dr Borlase currently works for the University of Sydney teaching across all years in the DMD program and contributes to the DCD Prosthodontic program. Dr Borlase continues his ongoing interest in facilitating learning in Removable Prosthodontics and management of aged human beings oral health.
Dr. Lyndon Chan is an ENT surgeon with a particular sub-speciality interest in sleep and sinonasal surgery. Upon completion of training, he underwent numerous fellowships in Sleep Surgery and Rhinology both nationally in Wollongong, and internationally at Singapore General Hospital and Duke University Hospital, USA. He is currently the International President of the International Surgical Sleep Society. Dr. Lyndon Chan is a paediatric and adult Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon with subspecialty interest in sinonasal disorders, snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. He is triple fellowship trained with provision of management for all adult and children’s ENT disorders. After completing otolaryngology training in NSW, Dr Lyndon Chan undertook several fellowships with internationally renowned experts to consolidate and develop highly specialised and innovative techniques in ENT to offer patients in Australia. Dr Lyndon Chan has public and private hospital appointments at all of the areas that he operates in. He is also the current international president of the International Surgical Sleep Society (ISSS) and actively involved with numerous societies and research. These avenues allow ongoing contribution to medical advancement and training the next generation of doctors and ENT surgeons.
Rachel is a periodontist in private practice in Brisbane. She is a visiting lecture at the
University of Qld, involved in the postgraduate periodontal program. She is a member and fellow of
the ITI, a past president of ANZAP and involved with numerous dental groups and committees.
Dr Jasmine Holgate graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours in 2008 with a Bachelor of Dentistry degree. After working in public and private clinics in metro Sydney and rural NSW, she returned to Sydney in 2014 to take up a position as an Endodontic Resident at Sydney Dental Hospital. She relocated to Brisbane with her husband and children to complete her speciality training in Endodontics at the University of Queensland.
Dr Louis Kei is a board-registered Specialist Prosthodontist and leads the prosthodontic service at Pinnacle Dental Specialists. He graduated with Honours in his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 2002 and went on to complete a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney in 2017. Dr Kei is a dual Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, having completed both the General Dental Practice and Specialist Prosthodontic streams.
Dr Kang Kim is Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of Noted-Dent, a HealthTech AI company developing AI solutions grounded in clinical stewardship. He is a Director at Cura Health Advisory and Dental Clinical Advisor for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Tasmania. Previously, Kang worked at EY on state-wide EMR and digital health implementations. He served as ADAWA President, received the ADA Outstanding Young Dentist Award, and holds a Master of Health Leadership and Management from UNSW.
Dr Jess O’Neill is a specialist Periodontist working in public and private practice. She is a Senior Clinical Specialist at Sydney Dental Hospital and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. She practices privately in Mosman and Sydney CBD, with clinical interests in peri-implantitis, advanced periodontal, and implant therapy.
As recipient of an Australian Society of Orthodontics research scholarship, Dr Vlaskalic travelled to the United States. At the Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry, Pacific University San Francisco, she conducted the 1998 initial feasibility trial and published the first paper on digital clear aligners in 2000. Since that time she has been involved in the innovation, clinical practice and teaching of computer programmed clear aligner therapy.
Melinda has been a clinical periodontist and lecturer in periodontics for the past 20 years. She practises in both private practice and at the Alfred hospital, enabling her to explore interests in the rehabilitation of medically compromised patients, aesthetics and the management of peri-implantitis. Melinda is the academic lead for periodontics at La Trobe University, Bendigo and lectures locally and nationally, presenting topics in periodontics and dental implants.
