Dr Sarah Coll

Dr Sarah Coll graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1995 and began Practice in Perth, before moving in 1996 to Queensland. She qualified as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2004 and began her Private Practice in 2006, while working at the Cairns Hospital. She has been providing a Hand and Shoulder Arthroscopy service to Cairns since 2005. 

Dr Coll is a member of both the Australian Hand Surgery Society and the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia. She is also a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. 

Dr Sarah Coll started the Cairns Hospital Hand Clinic, as a registrar in 2001, as is happy to see it flourish today. Jo Sobb (Hand Therapist) who currently works at the Cairns Hospital was instrumental in developing sophisticated therapy programmes after the significant injuries suffered by patients. Dr Coll is currently a Council and Board Member for the Australian Medical Association of Queensland and a Councillor for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
