Dr Michael Hurrell
Dr Michael Hurrell is a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with Dentistry and Medicine degrees, a PhD in facial trauma surgery and a post-speciality fellowship in head and neck cancer surgery and microvascular reconstruction.
Dr Hurrell provides a comprehensive surgical service to patients with mouth, jaw, skin and salivary gland cancers across the Gold Coast. He supervises Maxillofacial Trainees and a Head and Neck Cancer Fellow at the Gold Coast University Hospital, and is actively involved in ongoing student education and research. He also maintains a general Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice through The OMS Clinic on the Gold Coast, and OMSNT in Darwin. His general interests include wisdom teeth extractions, simple and complex dental implants, complex facial trauma, orthognathic surgery and TMJ surgery.
