Dr Barbara Woodhouse specialises in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is currently full-time in a private specialist OMS practice. She has previously served on RACDS council and multiple Committees, and has served as an examiner for the College. Dr Woodhouse has been a consultant at Royal Brisbane and Princess Alexandra Hospitals for 15 years, serves on various hospital medical advisory and peri-operative committees, and remains active in undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate dental and medical education. 

Dr Woodhouse gained Fellowship with the RACDS by examination in 1984 and was awarded FRACDS(OMS) in 1990. Dr Woodhouse currently serves on the RACDS Board of Directors and was awarded Life Fellowship of the RACDS in 2025.
