Associate Professor William Nguyen Ha
Associate Professor William Ha is a specialist Endodontist and the Head of Endodontics at the University of Sydney and Sydney Dental Hospital. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Science in 2007, Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation in 2012 and Doctor of Philosophy in Endodontics in 2017, all from the University of Queensland. He then completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics in 2021 from the University of Adelaide. He has over 30 published peer-reviewed articles, including 6 in the Journal of Endodontics, 5 in the Australian Endodontic Journal and 1 in Dental Traumatology. He is the deputy editor-in-chief of the European Endodontic Journal and a reviewer for the International Endodontic Journal and Australian Endodontic Journal.
He is a committee member of the International Association for Dental Traumatology (IADT) and co-translated the IADT guidelines into Vietnamese in 2012 and 2020. He is also a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is also a committee member for the International Federation of Endodontic Associations’ 2026 meeting in Sydney.
He also develops phone applications for dentists, notably Dental Prescriber, AAE Endocase and Endoprep.
