President's Welcome
Nau mai, haere mai ki te paetukutuku mō te Hui The Fine Edge of Dentistry 2026 i Poihākena.
Ko tēnei tā mātou hui mematanga matua e whakakotahi ana i ngā Tohunga me ngā Niho Whānui o ngā taumata mahi katoa hei whakawhiti mātauranga me ngā pūkenga.
Welcome to the website for The Fine Edge of Dentistry 2026 Sydney Conference.
This is our flagship membership event that brings together Specialist and General dentists from all career stages to exchange knowledge and expertise.
Join me in Sydney this September for three inspiring days of connection, learning, and celebration at The Fine Edge of Dentistry 2026. Our theme is Dental Care – The Next Era.
Whether you're a long-standing member of the College or attending for the first time, this is your opportunity to be part of our vibrant professional community as we shape the future of dentistry.
The three-day in-person event begins with the Opening Ceremony at the historic Sydney Masonic Centre on Thursday, 17 September 2026. This is our official welcome to new RADCS Fellows and Members and also honours recent outstanding contributions and achievements from exceptional College members. Members, Fellows, friends and family then have the opportunity to mix and mingle at the President’s Welcome Reception being held in the venue’s impressive Marble Foyer.
A robust and carefully curated Scientific Program is planned over the next two days - Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September 2026 - at the newly refurbished Sofitel Wentworth in the heart of Sydney’s professional district. Established and emerging invited speakers will offer clinical, practical and scientific insights.
I hope they might also spark your curiosity concerning where the future might take our profession.
Masterclasses and workshops, which proved so popular in Cairns 2024, are again being offered, this time both within the program and as pre-conference options.
I hope to meet many Members and Fellows, students and affiliate members, partners and guests over what is lining up to be a feature-packed three days. I am especially looking forward to celebrating with you all at the Conference Dinner on the Saturday evening.
Let’s embrace the next era as we seek personal and professional development opportunities for enhanced patient care underpinned by clinical excellence.
See you in Sydney in September.
Dr Erin Mahoney
President RACDS (2024 – 2026)
